CARTIER SQUARE DUOPLAN

Cartiers close relation and partnership with Jaeger and then Lecoultre granted them the use of the duoplan watch movement. This intelligently designed movement positioned the crown winder at the back of the watch, allowing for a more symmetrical aesthetic that Cartier often took advantage off, this being one such example. The watch dates to the 1930’s and is in altogether very good condition, with the 18k yellow gold case maintaining the original finish. The dial is presented in the usual Cartier layout with a white background, black roman numerals and chemin de fer. The watch comes with a yellow gold Cartier deployant paired with our custom made black leather strap with white stitching, an extra brown leather strap of the same design will also be supplied.
