CARTIER GONDOLE JUMBO

In 1972, Cartier entered a new era when a consortium of investors bought out Cartier Paris, followed by the New York and London branches, reuniting under one umbrella. Soon after in 1973, Cartier released the Louis Cartier Collection. This was a selection of twelve different models, some historic and some brand new, that would be serially produced.

One of the new designs imagined by this reformed Cartier, and I believe one of the best, was the Gondole. This Cartier Gondole is the Jumbo version and is the perfect Cartier for those who prefer a larger wristwatch. Presented in good original condition, it comes in 18k yellow gold, has a white dial with black roman numerals, chemin de fer minute track and a yellow gold deployment clasp.
