OMEGA CONSTELLATION DAY-DATE

The Omega Constellation day-date (ref.168.045) was first released in the late 1960’s and showed a shift towards a more modern design that would later become synonymous with watches of the next decade.

This particular example, however, (referenced BA 468.0804) is a very different beast altogether and possibly unique. It was delivered to Saudi Arabia in 1979, probably as a special order. It’s cased in 18k yellow gold with a diamond-set bezel, an integrated bracelet, and has a stunning red aventurine dial with diamond hour markers. The condition of the watch is exceptional and it comes with the original box, as well as an Omega extract from the archives. The incredibly cool design combined with the Omega quality makes it a special piece for any collector.
