PIAGET AUTOMATIC REF. 12431 A6

£12,000.00

Piaget has a long history in watchmaking going back to 1874. It started with a focus on making high-precision movements but later expanded into creating luxury timepieces. In 1957, they made the decision to work exclusively with precious metals, gold and platinum, then eventually incorporated dials made of different coloured hard stones. This infusion of jewellery with high-end watchmaking is what Piaget is famed for, however, they never stopped pushing technical innovation and in 1960 developed the world’s thinnest automatic movement that had ever been made, the 12P.

This allowed them to create ultra-thin automatic watches, such as this superb Piaget Automatic, ref.12341 A6. Made of 18k white gold and with a glorious deep blue Lapis Lazuli dial, it carries all the design hallmarks that you would expect from a Piaget watch. The condition is flawless, showing no slack in the bracelet and still with original stickers on the case back, it seems this watch has hardly, if ever, been worn.
